Hello Shorlone,
ReplyDeleteI am curious about the positions that you inquired about. Do you meet any of the qualifications for those positions and if not do you plan on extending your education in any of those fields. I really admire your desire to seek out more ways to assist those early in life who may not be classified as a typical child. Although they may not be typical in some ways, I've found that all children are special and they all have something interesting about them. It's sad that many have put children with special needs in one category far away from typical children. Once you bring yourself closer to any child you will find that every child is unique. I know you know what I'm talking about and your strong desire for early intervention will go a long way, thanking you for your dedication. Brenda Palmer-Assian
Shorlone, the resources you have highlighted this week are very notable and especially invaluable to families with children who have different abilities. I will definitely add them to my resource list. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteShorlone,
ReplyDeleteThese are some great resources! I am familiar with The American College of Pediatricians and have visited their site in the past. I have never heard of Pacer, and will be sharing it with my friend. Her son has is disabled, and she is having a hard time finding quality resources.
